How many sites have you found that review the quality of electronics without giving the option for other people to review the products and add their 2 cents about it? I was noticing quite a few electronic websites were created for the sole purpose of promoting affiliate offers and getting a cut from the sale. So I did a little digging and found out there are some nice review type plugins out their for platforms like wordpress which gives the opportunity for others to rate a product.

The owner of ANS allowed me to see how his site worked which also allows people to rate affiliate networks. Basically someone comes to the site and sees what the existing rating is, and then they have the opportunity to rate the network if they have used it.

So lets take for example his BLAM Ads review. This was just a simple informative piece where he tried to stay neutral for the most part and then allow the users to decide how they wanted to rate the network. I love this idea, and soon plan on using it for my own electronics blog to allow you to rate certain products as I post information about them.

I’m sorry if I didn’t get to it first with the Vacuum cleaner review, but I will add this plugin soon so everyone can participate. If you have any suggestions on the next electronic or household device that you would like me to review please feel free to leave a comment and let me know so I can get to it. And sorry to all those who emailed me and asked where I have been all this time. Don’t worry I’m back for a while.

My daughter absolutely loves pencil toppers. She trades them with some of the kids from school, and found that getting rare ones has been tough from the candy machine. I told her that it might be a good idea to check online to see if there was anyone selling them, and sure enough we found an online store that always had the glow in the dark squishies and the rare squishy pencil toppers in stock. The site is buysquishies.com and they have been around for about 6 months now.

My girl says that everytime she goes to the other popular sites that they are always out of the ones she wants, so now she goes to this site. Maybe it’s not a good idea that i’m posting this here, but maybe I can save a little money now if they sell out of the ones my daughter buys.

I think these little collectibles are going to be big for a while. Especially since we heard that the makers of these squishies have built a site that kids will be able to interact with by using codes. The codes come in the little capsules of the pencil toppers. We haven’t gotten any of them yet, but we know they will be out sometime soon.

All the kids are talking about it, so if you are a parent and want a toy that doesn’t cost a lot, this is probably one of the best little investments. Plus they go on pencils which is a tool kids need to use for school anyways. Lets see how far this thing goes. There is also a planned release of a new series coming late in the year which is also a rumor among the kids.

If you have any questions or thoughts about squishies I would like to hear them. How much have you spent on them? Where do you get yours? Things like that.

I’m sure just about everyone has had a Kirby salesman talk to them about buying a Kirby. Well the other day I had a guy come to my door and ask me about buying the new G5. What I can tell you is that the vacuums have really moved up a notch from what they used to be. In terms of durability I doubt they are any better, but in terms of cleaning up messes, the attachments and the suction you get is awesome.

In my opinion, carpet is not as popular as it once was for several reasons. Cleaning it is such a hassle, and carpet carries so much dirt and grime that can get in your lungs and make you sick. Nevertheless, we still have carpet in some of the rooms, and I’m sure that’s why this guy came by wanting to sell us a well known vacuum cleaner. If you are like me, I’m not just going to buy a vacuum because this guy wants me to buy one. I am going to do my research. I wanted to get one of those new Dyson ball vacuums, so I checked on a Kirby G5 Vacuum Cleaner Review which obviously looks to be written by a blogger and a consumer.

What I can tell you from my experience is that the Kirby G5 is a great vacuum. It lives up to expectations, and can get the job done as well as a lot of the other vacuums on the market. If you want to go and pay full price for a vacuum, you can check Wal-mart, but it is probably going to be your best bet to purchase a vacuum online instead.

For those wanting to invest more money, then you may want to go with the Dyson Top DC22 Canister Vacuum which is really good for picking up cat hair and other dirt you can easily throw away without buying a bag.

In the end I told the gentleman I wanted to wait on buying a vacuum, and that I needed to do a little more research. He wasn’t the usual pushy person I was expecting, and respected my wishes. Just remember, if you are gonna spend 300 bucks on a vacuum, you might as well research first rather than believe what everyone tells you trying to sell you one.

Soon there will be electronic devices that will allow nurses and cna’s to keep track of records with much more ease than they are now.

We all have seen in the movies where a safe cracker can open a safe in a matter of minutes multiple times. In the real world these people are known as locksmiths, and in most cases have been doing their homework on the latest technology with current safes being used by high end customers.

In the real world it can take these locksmiths many hours to crack a safe. As technology continues to advance will there be a need for more advanced locksmith training as well? It is very well possible. Many of these new safes have mechanisms which if a piece of glass is cracked or another lock is triggered, can cause a person to shell out thousands of dollars if the safe gets completely shut down and locked up for good.

One Phoenix locksmith found this out after working on a safe for over 3 hours. Another locksmith said he has worked on a safe for over 11 hours to open it. Hardly what you see in the movies. This process is delicate, and doesn’t always work in a person’s favor. If you have been thinking of getting into the locksmith business, you might want to stick with the simple stuff like opening cars and homes, although home security systems are advancing as well.

The breed of Locksmiths is dying out, and those qualified to handle the extremely skilled jobs get payed well for what they do. Not everyone can crack a safe, and often times it requires years and years of on the job training and experience. Not everyone is cut out to be a locksmith, and that’s why we have careers in the medical industry and other fields require special sets of skills.

One Wednesday, the much anticipated Blackberry Storm 2 will be available. This is first available to Blackberry customers, then as time goes on it will probably be able to be purchased by those who are with other carriers.

The new Blackberry touch screen is much like the last version except for the fact that it has built-in Wi-Fi and EV-DO Revision A. What extra perks does the phone have? It includes 256MB of flash memory as well as 2GB of “onboard” memory and an oboard microSD card.

the operating system is of course Blackberry’s very own OS 5.0. Will we see Blackberry running on the Android platform any time in the future? We don’t have any information that would lead us to believe so in any way, but more and more phones are running on Android, that at some point they will probably be dominating the market.

As far as the Blackberry Storm 2, the same apps, wallpapers and backgrounds should work just fine. The new Storm also provides a removable battery which will provide up to 5.5 hours of battery life making phone calls. Games and apps may use more battery life than just calls.

One of the costs people hate is that of purchasing a washer and dryer. If you don’t have the money, then it is usually best to just stay with what you have. You have probably heard the saying, if it isn’t broke then don’t fix it. I agree 100% but last week our washer has not been draining. Which leaves us with a decision to make.

Now we have been thinking of purchasing a front load washing machine for several reasons, but the price on new machines is extremely high. If you look at Home Depot and Lowes which in most cases are the lowest stores for appliances, a front load washing machine will run you around $500 or more.

The main reason why you may want to purchase a front loader as we did was because it looked really cool when we looked at some of the models in a recent catalog. But in all truth, they are valuable. They not only use less water which is friendly for the environment and for your water bill, but they also save on electricity as well.

This week we are going shopping for a new LG front load washer, and after purchasing one we will let our readers know how it turns out.
