One Wednesday, the much anticipated Blackberry Storm 2 will be available. This is first available to Blackberry customers, then as time goes on it will probably be able to be purchased by those who are with other carriers.
The new Blackberry touch screen is much like the last version except for the fact that it has built-in Wi-Fi and EV-DO Revision A. What extra perks does the phone have? It includes 256MB of flash memory as well as 2GB of “onboard” memory and an oboard microSD card.
the operating system is of course Blackberry’s very own OS 5.0. Will we see Blackberry running on the Android platform any time in the future? We don’t have any information that would lead us to believe so in any way, but more and more phones are running on Android, that at some point they will probably be dominating the market.
As far as the Blackberry Storm 2, the same apps, wallpapers and backgrounds should work just fine. The new Storm also provides a removable battery which will provide up to 5.5 hours of battery life making phone calls. Games and apps may use more battery life than just calls.
